Husband and wife can't separate accounts unless they divorce or one of them moves out. A couple whose registered permanent residence is the same property are not allowed to set up two households in principle. However, if one of the husband and wife does not move their household registration after marriage, or has established a collective household registration or an independent household registration for school and employment, the police station cannot force them to close their households. Couples who have entered the household are not allowed to separate households unless both parties divorce or one party moves out.

First, the need to enter the home, but also need to provide the following materials:

1. The three-level certificate of the village committee's consent to the separation of households or the consent letter of the neighborhood committee, which needs to be stamped with the official seal and the name of the agent;

2. Apply for entering the household in my own name, and provide the application certificate signed by me;

Second, the account matters needing attention

1, the household registration book has the legal effect of proving citizenship and family members, and is the main basis for household registration authorities to conduct household registration and verification. When the staff of the household registration authority conducts household registration investigation and verification, the head of household or family members shall take the initiative to submit the household registration book.

2. The householder shall properly keep the household register, and it is strictly forbidden to alter, transfer or lend it without permission. If it is lost, it must be reported to the household registration authority immediately.

3. The right to register the household registration book belongs to the household registration authority, and no other unit or individual may make any record in the book.

4. If there is any increase or decrease in personnel or change in registered items, the household shall report to the household registration authority with the household registration book.

5. If the whole family moves out of the household registration jurisdiction, the household registration book shall be handed over to the household registration authority.

Generally speaking, the hukou book will not change, and the hukou book will be valid for a long time. As long as there are no personnel changes at home, there is no need to operate the household registration book. When it is necessary to separate households, it is necessary to re-open the household registration book, and if a family moves out of the household registration, it is necessary to cancel the household registration.

Seventeenth household registration content needs to be changed or corrected, the head of the household or I shall report to the household registration authority; If it is verified through examination, the household registration authority shall change or correct it.

Article 19 If a citizen's household registration changes due to marriage, divorce, adoption, claim, separation, merger, disappearance, recovery or other reasons, the head of the household or himself shall report the change registration to the household registration authority.
