Evolution of Liaoyuan Township
Liaoyuan Township, under the jurisdiction of Hulan City in Qing Dynasty, is a blue flag. 1905 (thirty-one year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty), belonging to Lanxi County and Xixiang District 1. During the Republic of China, it was under the four guarantees. After the fall of Northeast China, Xinyang Village was established. After the victory of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression on September 3rd, 1945, 1946 belonged to Xinyang District, and 1949 belonged to six districts. 1June, 956, the district and township were abolished and Xinyang township was established. /kloc-0 changed its name to Liaoyuan People's Commune in August, 958. 1May, 983, the government and social organizations were separated and changed to Liaoyuan Township.
