Tangyuan Sugar is a specialty of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, and also a local traditional name. One of the earliest candies in China. It is mainly made of rose, maltose and pine nuts with sucrose.

Suzhou Caizhizhai was founded in the 9th year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1870), and is famous for making traditional Soviet cuisine. Tangyuan sugar is a specialty of Gusu, which is the most beautiful sugar in the world. The amber maltose juice condenses into a small "four-corner jiaozi", which is crystal clear.

1 Cooking sugar is the same as peanut candy.

Pine nuts and roses must be roasted, otherwise they can't be used, so as to avoid the resurgence of pine nuts and roses. It is easy to turn sugar into sand by pouring sugar paste.

3. After the sugar is cooled and boiled to 160℃, pour it on a cooling table filled with tap water, sprinkle pine nuts and dried roses on the sugar paste while it is hot, and fold it back and forth with a scraper. When the sugar paste is folded and cooled, the water evaporates continuously, and the sugar paste gradually condenses into soft candy.
