How to use the right mouse button of Pro premiere 2.0 video source panel for one more seat? Why is mine always gray?
Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0' s "multi-camera editing" supports synchronous switching of four cameras. The specific operation method is as follows:

1. 1. Collecting materials: Collect the tapes recorded by four cameras on the computer and name them "1" and "No.2" respectively, and they will automatically appear in the program library after completion.

2. Add an audio track (3 audio tracks is not enough by default): Just add a video track and an audio track here.

3. Load multi-camera material: You can directly drag four materials to the timeline track.

4. Synchronize multicam footage: Select all tracks, right-click and select "Synchronize" in the menu.

In the multi-camera editing mode, the purpose of synchronization is to completely synchronize the picture and sound of each camera, which requires that the shooting division and synchronization mode of each camera must be agreed in advance when shooting in the early stage, such as the synchronization switch of all cameras, and the "material starting point" can be selected at the synchronization point; Or if the host is not turned off, the extension will record a specific picture for multi-camera synchronization every time it is turned on. At this time, it is necessary to manually divide the extended material based on the host material, and then manually synchronize it on the time axis according to the specific picture.

5. Timeline Nesting: Create a new timeline, name it "Multi-camera Editing", and then import (directly drag) "Timeline 0 1" from the library.

6. Start the multi-camera editing mode: right-click the material in the multi-camera editing timeline and select Multi-camera mode → Enable from the menu.

7. Call up the multi-camera monitor: Click the small triangle button in the upper right corner of the monitor window and select "Multi-camera Monitor" in the pop-up menu. The display area of "multi-camera monitor" is divided into two parts. On the left is the input monitor of each camera, and on the right is the switched output monitor.

8. Now start the multi-camera switching clip.

There are two ways to exchange seats:

The first is the mouse switching mode. Click the play button on the multi-camera monitor. Premiere will automatically save the program and generate it quickly, and then play the timeline from the beginning. All you have to do is click with the mouse and select the input display of a camera on the left side of the multi-camera display. The monitor will be marked with a * * border, and its picture will be cut into the output monitoring window on the right. During actual recording, the online seats will be marked with a red line box, and the red recording button below the display will light up (see figure 10). Then you can switch the pictures of each seat continuously according to the editing idea, and show, describe and narrate the scene from different perspectives.

Another method is to use the 1, 2, 3, 4 keys on the numeric keyboard to switch, which is a bit like using a video switching station, and the others are the same as above.

Note: the usage of the red recording button is a bit special. When we want to start multi-camera switching editing, we should click the play button instead of the record button. Only when you click with the mouse to select the multi-camera input monitor or press any number on the keyboard will the red record button light up, which means that the selected picture is being recorded. If you want to stop, just click the recording switch with the mouse.

After the switch editing is completed, you will find that the "Multi-shot Editing" timeline has been updated, showing the material after the switch editing, and you can use the Enter key to browse the effect.

9. Modify the multi-camera switching point: After you play the multi-camera material, you can modify the entry point and exit point of any segment of the "Multi-camera Editing" timeline without affecting other parts.
