A surname, that is, Tang Taizong Yu, once worked in Mingzhou (Ningbo), bringing northern music, especially French music, to spread in eastern Zhejiang, forming a "Daole". Yu Yaoqiang absorbed the essence of French music and made innovations. At the same time, with the popularity of the pipa created by Ming Dynasty dramatist Gao Ming in Ningbo Lishe, the Yu Yaoqiang used by him also spread. At that time, Yu Yaoqiang was known as "Yuediao" and "Jiangnan Yuequ" in eastern Zhejiang. Because local officials presented the pipa to the court, Zhu Yuanzhang, the Ming emperor, was very happy to see it. Yu Yaoqiang entered Beijing from a corner of Zhejiang Province, and from then on, the status of opera tune flowing from Beijing to the whole country was confirmed. Because Yuyao Andong Salt Field is rich in salt, "Yuyao official salt" accounts for two-thirds of Zhejiang Province. Salt merchants in the Yangtze River provinces have frequent exchanges, and local salt merchants often take troupes. Yu Yaoqiang is prevalent in the north and south of Jianghuai. Anhui local operas include: "Hui Opera", which is deeply influenced by Yu Yaoqiang; The combination of Yiyang and Yu Yaoqiang in Jiangxi influenced and formed the "Yiyang tune"; Kunshan absorbed Yu Yaoqiang, a "white singer", and created the "Kunshan accent". "Rolling singing" has become the "core" of other operas, and it is also the basis of the "four major tunes" of Southern Opera. In the Ming Dynasty, the Yuyuan Garden in Shanghai was the drama center of Shanghai County. Disciples of Yuyao Liyuan perform regularly.
