The Historical Evolution of leping city
Leping was inhabited by humans in the Paleolithic Age. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, it belonged to Wu, Yue and Chu successively, initially to Fan (Yinpan) city and later to Han (Yingan) county. After the Qin unified China, the county system was implemented, and it was subordinate to the county and Jiujiang county. Han Dynasty belongs to Le 'an Township, Hanyu County. Leping County was established in the first year of Guanghe in the Eastern Han Dynasty (178), and the county seat is located in Yin Cheng Castle (now a merchant in Yincheng, Dexing City). Because the county is adjacent to Le 'an River in the south and Lin Ping in the north, it is named "Le Ping". The jurisdiction covers the whole territory of Jinleping and Dexing, as well as parts of Poyuan and Wannian County.

In the second year of Xingping in the Eastern Han Dynasty (195), the Three Kingdoms moved from the county seat to Yuekou (now called Daicun Town) and changed the county name to Le 'an County. In the first year of Chen Tianjia in the Southern Dynasties (560), Le 'an County was abolished and Poyang County was replaced. In the 13th year of Taijian (58 1), Yin Cheng County was established, belonging to the original Le 'an County, and the county seat is still in Kuaikou. In the tenth year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (59 1), the county organizational system was abolished and the jurisdiction was once again transferred to Poyang. In the fourth year of Tang Wude (62 1), Leping County was restored to the organizational system and belonged to Raozhou, Jiangnan Road. In nine years (26 years), the establishment of Leping County was abolished, and the jurisdiction was still transferred to Poyang.

In the fourth year of Tang Kaiyuan (7 16), Leping County was rebuilt again. The county seat is located in Changle Shuikou (now Tongshangang Village, Zhongbu Town) and belongs to Raozhou, Jiangnan West Road. In the 28th year (740), Huai Jin Township in the northeast of the county and Yu Hui Township in Xiuning County merged to form Wuyuan County. In the seventh year of Yuanhe (8 12), people from Danyang Township in the northeast of the county turned to Wuyuan. In the third year of neutralization (883), he moved to Huahou Town (now leping town).

In the second year of Southern Tang Dynasty (938), Dexing County was established in Leping, Yinshan and Nanbu townships. During the reign of Song Xining (1068- 1077), another villager was transferred to Dexing County.

In Yuanyuan Zhenyuan (1295), the county was upgraded to a state, belonging to Raozhou Road in Jiangsu and Zhejiang.

In the early Ming dynasty, the state changed to the county, and the road changed to the government. Leping was transferred to Jiujiang Road, Jiangxi with Rao Fu. In the seventh year of Zheng De (15 1:), all Xinjin Township and most of Fengle Township in the south of the county merged with Poyang County and parts of yugan county to form Wannian County.

Leping County in Qing Dynasty inherited the organizational system and subordinate relationship of Ming Dynasty.

From the first year of the Republic of China to the third year (1912-1914), the abandoned government set up roads, and Leping was under Xunyang Road (governing Jiujiang). In the fifth year of the Republic of China (19 16), counties were directly under the jurisdiction of provinces. In the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930), Leping established the county Soviet regime, which administered the three provinces of Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi. Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi provinces, the Northeast Jiangxi Special Committee and Revolutionary Committee are stationed in Leping. In the 21st year of the Republic of China (1932), after the Red Army retreated, Leping belonged to the fourth administrative region of Jiangxi Province (Poyang), and in the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), it was changed to the fifth administrative region (the Commissioner moved to Jingdezhen).

On April 29th, 1949, China People's Liberation Army entered Leping. Leping County originally belonged to Leping District, Northeast Jiangxi Administrative Office (located in Leping).
