Reinstall the label according to the steps in the attached quick installation guide.
Second, the position of the paper sensor is incorrect.
After lifting the print head, you will see a paper detector where the paper passes. Refer to the figure below. The detector needs to be covered with paper so that the printer can know the size of the paper correctly.
Third, the label setting does not match the actual size.
In the paper label set in the page of the label editing software, the height setting does not match the actual label height. Please measure the actual height of the label with a ruler before printing, and then set the label correctly.
Fourth, the paper sensor is not clean
1. Please use absolute alcohol cleaning paper sensor.
Note: To clean the sensor, please turn off the printer first.
2. Perform the Paper Inspection operation again. Calibrate your label according to the following steps (only for machines after 2009):
① In standby mode, press and hold the paper feed key for 3 seconds, and the three LED indicators will flash at the same time.
② The machine automatically feeds paper (about 20cm), and then stops at the normal paper tearing position.
(3) After the three LED indicators stop flashing, they return to normal state and the operation is completed.
If the paper inspection is still ineffective, it is recommended to use a penetrating sensor for inspection. Turn the No.5 DIP switch ON the back of the machine to ON, and then restart the printer.
Five, label paper gap is not standardized
When processing some label paper, the size or interval of the label paper produced is inconsistent due to the machine or mold.
As a result, the printer cannot sense the size of the label paper, so there will be continuous blank paper.
6. The media type setting is incorrect
The correct ring type is not selected in the driver, for example, the interval label paper is "interval label", the perforation label is "marking label" and the continuous paper is "continuous".
Seven, the label backing paper is too thick or the label paper is irregular.
If the label paper is thick and the backing paper is thick, or some electronic labels are irregular, the printer will not be able to sense the size of the paper, which will also lead to blank paper.
Eight, sensor failure
If the above methods can't solve the problem, it may be caused by the paper sensor problem.
