Chongli Township is located 43 kilometers northeast of Shangcai County, Zhumadian City, and 6 kilometers south of provincial highway 3 1 1 which runs through Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway. It borders Zhoukou City in the north, and Huang Wu Provincial Road runs through it, where it meets the highway from Luohe to Xiangcheng. The Yanggang River runs through the southwest.
