I'm a sophomore majoring in plant production in China Agricultural University, and I'm going to be a major soon. What is the employment situation of horticulture major (suitable for girls)?
According to my understanding of horticulture, plant protection and seed science, and the situation after our classmates came out to work,

After a year, there are only one or two male and female students working in the flower and gardening company, but the students who have persisted to this day can still get along, and they have taken up the positions of director and supervisor, managing more than a dozen employees. The important thing is persistence;

Many students have been promoted to graduate school for further study;

Some students also sell more agricultural materials. If the performance is good, the treatment is not low, and there are 40,000 to tens of thousands of commissions. Persistence is also expensive;

Students with capital have their own flower shops or greenhouses to grow vegetables and flowers;

Many female students, like me, have directly switched to other jobs, such as clerks, cashiers, merchandisers and so on. In short, few students insist on doing this major. Gardening-related majors are hard work in themselves. They are not girls with strong fighting spirit or strong interest, so they should choose carefully. Going out to work has little to do with school performance, but mainly depends on the mastery and application of practical professional knowledge. And technology is constantly accumulated in practice, not a day or two.

Personal opinion, I hope it will help you.
