Mianyang departs from Chengdu to Chongqing, takes the Xiangyu Expressway from Chongqing Ring Expressway to Banan Toll Station, goes to Nanchuan, Wulong and Jishou, passes through Nanchuan, Wulong, Qianjiang, Youyang and Xiushan, and gets off at Yajiang Toll Station after crossing Xiushan.

Remember, after crossing Xiushan, you must get off at an intersection in front of Hong 'an Toll Station (Yajiang Toll Station) and take Yada Road. After passing Songtao in Guizhou, you should go in the direction marked Tongren and Daxing Town, about 80 kilometers. It is a second-class highway in mountainous areas, with good road conditions and free journey. Turn left when you get to Daxing town, where the road sign is obvious. Go straight to the right for 37 kilometers to tongren city, Guizhou Province, and go straight to the left for 40 kilometers to Fenghuang County, Hunan Province. Remember, when you reach a crossroads in Daxing Town, turn left and turn right to Tongren. Less than one kilometer to the left is the high-grade highway from Daxing to Fenghuang, and 40 kilometers later it reaches Fenghuang County. There's another way. If you really can't find a way to get off the expressway, just follow the passenger shuttle bus from Xiushan to Phoenix or Songtao to Phoenix.

Also, when you get to Fenghuang County, some motorcyclists will follow you all the way when they see that your car is on the road with a foreign license plate. You must keep your distance when driving. When you stop at the crossroads to find your way into the city, they will knock on your window. You don't have to be nervous about it. They are just soliciting customers and introducing tour guides to private inns. Just say you booked an inn or a tour guide. The whole journey takes about 8 hours.

There is another way to go, that is, take Xiang-Yu Expressway across Xiushan, get off at Hong 'an Toll Station, the terminal of the opening section of Xiang-Yu Expressway, take 3 19 National Road across Xiushan Hongan Town to Chadong Town, Huayuan County, Hunan Province (now renamed as Border Town), then walk 20 kilometers along 3 19 National Road to the intersection of Huayuan County, Hunan Province, then turn right and reach Jishou City after 72 kilometers. Halfway through the internet, we have to go through the hot Aizhai Highway and the most awesome Aizhai traffic police duty station. Aizhai Highway Canyon is the Aizhai Bridge of Xiang-Yu Expressway under construction (the first in Asia and the third in the world). When you get to Jishou city, turn right at the first intersection and take the 209 National Highway (you can follow the tourist bus from other places such as Xiang G Xiang H or the Jishou-Fenghuang passenger bus). This section of the road is not as good as Songtao Bridge in Guizhou, and there is no traffic jam. The national highway is free all the way.
