Meiwenfeng Pagoda is located at the top of Ban Ling of Huangxia Cave in Xuemei Village, Huang Bei Village, Xinfeng County, Shaoguan City.
According to the old people in the village, Meiwenfeng Pagoda was built in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty (1522) with a history of more than 500 years. Mei Wenfeng's Tata overlooks Jiyun Mountain, with the "Xinfeng Roof" in the south, the beautiful and elegant Gao Qi Village in the north, Baihu Mountain (Songshan Mountain) and Sha 'ao Mountain in the west and the cock flapping its wings in the east. In the1960s, due to the need of war preparedness, the original tower was demolished to make a post. The original Meiwen Peak Tower, which is 3 meters high and made of round stone, was rebuilt at the end of 2006. There is a 6-corner, 5-story, 8-meter-high and 0.8-meter-high pedestal outside, and the bottom is a false circular arch. Liao Fangnan inscribed the words "Wenfeng Tower".
Meiwenfeng Pagoda is divided into layers, with a large bottom and a small top, and the bottom diameter is about 4m wide. The eaves of three 0.3m yellow glazed tiles floated out, all decorated with short upturned corners. 0.3m high iron pen-shaped hoist gate top. Pink all over, shaped like jade bamboo shoots. Birds like eagles and magpies often come to rest. Proud refers to nine, majestic four fields. Solemn and rigorous, Zhang Chi is mild, the weather is sunny, the sun and the moon compete for glory, and the local scenery is beautiful.
