The purpose of merging Maxiang Middle School into Xiang 'an No.1 Middle School is to further optimize the allocation of educational resources, expand the coverage of high-quality educational resources, achieve educational balance, and then improve the level of running schools in the whole region.

According to reports, before the start of school, the accommodation, accommodation and other hardware facilities in the original Maxiang Middle School Campus have been upgraded, adding restaurants and additional tables and chairs. At present, there are about 200 residential students after the merger, and this campus has more than 600 beds, which can fully meet the accommodation needs of students. In addition, in view of the traffic problems that parents of students are worried about, the original student buses such as Window East, Caicuo and Hou Lian remain unchanged.

After the merger, there will be about 1900 students in Xiang' an No.1 Middle School, and there will be 42 classes in the whole school, including Grade One, Grade Two and Grade Three 14 classes.
