Fenhe River, Wenyu River and Ciyao River run through Wenshui County. There are three rivers crossing Wenshui County, namely Wayao River, Baishi River and Yinma River, all of which are seasonal rivers with narrow drainage basins and small flow. There are three tributaries of Toudaochuan River, Erdaochuan River and Sandaochuan River in the western mountainous area.
Fenhe River is the second largest tributary of the Yellow River. Fenhe River enters Wenshui County from Hanwu Village in Qingxu, and flows through Xishe, Yang Le Fort, Gaoche, Guanjiabao, Xingjiabao, Yunzhou Village, Nanhu, Wang Jiabao, Shuizhai, Shangduan, Gunner Fort, New Castle, Store, Beiqi, Nanqi, Shijiabao and JOE Town, with a flow of 37 kilometers and a drainage area of 293.3 square kilometers.
Wenyu River, a tributary of Fenhe River, was called Wenshui in ancient times, also known as Wengushui and Hungushui. Originated in Guandi Mountain in Jiaocheng County and entered Fenhe River in xiaoyi city. Wenyu River, after coming out of Beiyukou, passes through the floodgate, Songjiazhuang and Fanjiazhuang, and is divided into east and west roads. West Road passes Beixu, Zhongshe, Nanxu, Longquan, Sangcun, Sangcunying, Baozi, Private Evaluation, han cun, Jizhou, Yi Xi Station, Qiaotou, Nanwulao, Beizhang, Nanzhang, Sujiabao, Zhengjiazhuang and Baijin. East longitude 55, 12, Li Hong, Majia Village, Yangjiazhai, Nanzhang and Beizhang entered Ciyao River.
Ciyao River originates from Hejialing, the northwest Ciyao ditch in Jiaocheng County, flows into Wenshui County in Hou Shi Village, flows through Hang Cheng, Wuliang, Dongcheng, Xicheng and other villages 18, and flows into Fenhe River through Fenyang to Xiaoyi Qiaotou Village, with a flow of 27 kilometers in Wenshui County and a drainage area of 122.7 square kilometers. The seasonal variation of water quantity is obvious, and runoff is concentrated in flood season. Wenshui County has a temperate continental climate, with precipitation of 450-700 mm, average rainfall of 457 mm, average sunshine time of 2252 hours, average sunshine rate of 58%, temperature range of 4- 1 1℃, average temperature/kloc-0.1℃ and average ground temperature/kloc. The average water pressure is 9.6 hectopascals, the average air pressure is 929.2 hectopascals, the frost-free period 183 days, the average frost-free period 160- 175 days, the average wind speed is 2.0 m/s, the maximum wind speed is 35 m/s, and the number of windy days is 8 times/year. The meteorological conditions are mild.
