Method one
1, take out all the materials for spelling palace lanterns and put them on the desktop;
2. Splice the materials of palace lanterns together. When splicing, the lamps need to be directly installed in the correct position, and the switch of the lamps should be exposed;
3. Apply glue to the bottom of the lamp and fix it on the frame of the palace lantern;
4. Splice the screens of the palace lanterns, glue directly on the border, and then paste the corresponding materials on the border of the palace lanterns. After the production is completed, the small screens are spliced on the frame of the palace lantern in turn, and the other three screens are fixed by the same method.
Method 2
Materials required: four pieces of 230g A4 red paper, one piece of 120g A4 orange paper, some red and green wax paper and wool.
Step 1: Draw a pattern. The dragon of the traditional hexagonal lantern is complicated, and it needs horns, so it is best to carve it with a carving knife. Considering that I made it with children, I drew the image of Hongshan Yulong, which is just a curve, which is easier to cut. Besides, I can take children to Guo Bo to see Hongshan Yulong during the New Year holiday. Other parts are also avoided as much as possible.
Title box, three inserts, this part is well drawn, and the rest is much easier.
The middle circumference, upper circumference, lower circumference and A4 paper are a little small and need to be spliced once. If there is a large piece of paper, just draw six boxes directly. Fold with dotted line and cut with solid line. Remember to draw a crease (you can use a waterless refill) before folding 230g paper, otherwise it will be untidy.
Step 2: officially start cutting, and start cutting according to the pattern.
Step 3: Stroke with gold poster color. There is no picture. I forgot to take pictures when I was doing it. Just look at the finished product directly.
Step 4: decorate the middle wall. You can draw some pictures on six faces of orange. I cut some patterns and put them on. (Forgot to take a picture)
Step 5: splicing.
Step 6: Make six ears to hang on six corners, and make some ears with wool. I didn't take pictures. Look directly at the finished product.
The hexagonal palace lantern is finished.
