Thorpe Town is located in the west of Shexian County, Handan City, Hebei Province, with a distance of 1 1.2km. It covers an area of 26.7 square kilometers and has a population of 20,900 (2002). Jurisdiction 18 administrative villages, and the town government is located in Suobao Village.
