Shengzhou City is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province, which is managed by Shaoxing City. Located in the east of Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou in the north and Ningbo in the east, it belongs to the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone.
Shengzhou city is surrounded by mountains, with a basin in the middle and a stream flowing through it. The landform is generally "seven mountains, one water and two fields". The terrain slopes from southwest to northeast.
Shengzhou is rich in natural resources, with diatomite reserves of about 200 million tons, fluorite reserves of 2 million tons, yellow sand and medical stone reserves of about 654.38+tons each, and 654.38+0 medium-sized high-grade silver mines. The total reserves of hydropower resources are 60,000 kilowatts, and 30,600 kilowatts have been developed. It is one of the primary electrification counties in rural areas of China.
