Sanyang Township is located in the northeast of Shexian County, Anhui Province, at the junction of Anhui and Zhejiang, at the foot of Liangqingfeng, a scenic national nature reserve, and is the planned central town of Huangshan City. Known as "Little Switzerland in the East" by famous writers Yu Dafu and Lin Yutang. Sanyang Township has convenient transportation, and Huihang Highway passes through the township. Huihang expressway (Sanyang has a crossing) leads directly to Huangshan and Hangzhou, and Tangshan Highway leads to Qiandao Lake. Famous folk cultural activities include "Luohan" in Yecun, "Lion Dance Lantern" in Nakamura and "Swing" in Sanyang. Among them, Ye Cun's "Luohan" is particularly prominent, and it has been reported by CCTV, Hong Kong TV, Anhui TV and Taiwan Province Folk Quyi for many times, enjoying a good reputation at home and abroad.
