Antu County, which belongs to Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture of Jilin Province, is located in the east of Jilin Province and southwest of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, bordering Sanchiyuan City of North Korea, and is the first county under Changbai Mountain. Antu is known as "the first county in Changbai Mountain". Located in Antu, the main peak of Changbai Mountain, one of the "Top Ten Famous Mountains in China", is the volcano with the highest altitude and the largest spout in Northeast China. Its unique volcanic landforms constitute a representative "temperate polar" mountain natural complex in China and even the northern half of Eurasia, and it has been listed in the global "Man and Ecosphere Protection Network" and one of the 40 nature reserves in the world by UNESCO and WWF.
