Wu Ya Tourism Festival

Lunar June 1-3.

Wu Ya is located in the west of Sanmenxia 100 km, which is said to be the place where Zhenwu Emperor practiced. During the tourism festival, there are cultural activities such as cultural performances, mountaineering competitions and folk acrobatics.

Wu Ya is a provincial scenic spot and a national forest park. It was once called "Little Huashan", "Phoenix Mountain" and "Yangfu Mountain". According to legend, Zhenwu Emperor once gave lectures here and became a Taoist holy place in northern China. Because of its similar scenery to Wudang Mountain, it was named "Wuyashan". Although it was built in the Tang Dynasty, it increased in the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, but it was not developed on a large scale due to the limitation of geographical transportation. It was not until the 1990s that, with the rapid development of modern transportation, this Taoist wonderland and tourist pearl, which had sunk for thousands of years, began to be developed with the attention and support of the state, provinces, cities and tourism departments.

Wu Ya has a planned protected area of 100 km2, a tourist area of 5 1.2 km2, and the highest peak is 2400 meters above sea level. It is a mountain scenic spot integrating sightseeing, summer vacation, recuperation and scientific research, featuring beautiful scenery and Taoist culture. Its natural landscape combines five mountains, wonders, dangers and beauty, including Jiuzhai Wild, Broad, Ancient and Quiet. Its cultural landscape contains thousands of generations of ups and downs and thousands of years of myths and legends. Wu Ya's green coverage rate reaches 95%, with flowers in full bloom in spring, full of green in midsummer, red leaves everywhere in autumn, and snow-covered in winter. When you step into Wu Ya, it makes you feel like you are in a paradise. There is a poem written by Cui Yu, a poet in the Ming Dynasty, praising the beautiful scenery of Wuyashan as evidence: the clear spring on the stone is loose, the white clouds are full of fairy flavor, and the east wind storms Man Chun, but there is no such peak in the middle.

Wu Ya, a national forest park in Henan Province, is located in Yuling, Lingbao, with a tourist area of 5 1.2 square kilometers, a planned protection area of 100 square kilometers and a maximum elevation of 2 100 meters. It is a mountain-type scenic spot integrating sightseeing, summer vacation, recuperation and scientific research, and its natural landscape is magnificent and strange.

Wu Ya is called "Little Huashan", "Phoenix Mountain" and "Yangfu Mountain". According to historical records, Wu Ya was founded in the Xianheng period of the Tang Dynasty? In 670 AD, it has a history of over 300 years. In the Tang Dynasty, Taoism was very popular. According to legend, Zhenwu Emperor once practiced here, so it became a Taoist shrine in the middle reaches of the Yellow River. During the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were more than 20 temples and palaces by the end of Qing Dynasty. There are more than 20 peaks with an altitude of1200m in the scenic area. The steep and beautiful peaks include the east wind at an altitude of1835m, the west peak at an altitude of1770m, the south peak at an altitude of1847m, the north peak at an altitude of1832m and Juxianping at an altitude of1207m. According to "Ganxiang County Records", "The main peak of Qijianyu is Wu Ya, with iron chains standing on the wall. According to legend, Zhenwu lived here first and was named after Wudang. "

Walking into Wu Ya is like walking into a natural landscape painting by a famous painter. Walking in the mountains, people seem to be traveling in a world of pictorial. White clouds floating overhead, clear springs flowing under your feet, green flowers everywhere, bees flying, butterflies flying, birds chirping, springs tinkling, fish playing, a feeling of returning to nature and blending into nature arises spontaneously. Compared with the world-famous Xiyue Huashan Mountain, Wu Yashan also has the beauty, strangeness, danger, beauty and wildness of the natural landscape, but what is more fascinating is that she is full of aura.

Mountains are full of aura because of water, and water is full of connotation because of mountains. Entering from the north gate of Wuyashan and entering the mountain gate, a clear spring flutters like a jade belt, descending from the winding mountain road, stepping on the spring water, and there are more than a dozen waterfalls with different shapes and beautiful scenery. Small waterfalls are also called flowing waterfalls. A trickle of spring water runs down a slope, and the water jumps between the edges of stones, splashing and shining. The Great Waterfall is also called the Hanging Waterfall. A wide white jade belt hung upside down on the steep cliff. In an instant, silver flies and jade is broken, and the water vapor is dazzling and scattered. As thick as fog, people are in front, and they are all wet. Climbing the Panshan Mountain, the clear water of Mingjing Lake, Heiyutan and Laolongtan is bright and green. On the cliff, naturally carved birds, animals, insects and fish are lifelike, walking in the mountains, with blue sky and white clouds overhead, towering old trees, butterflies flying, fish swimming, running water in their ears and birds whispering. Huang Jinhua, forsythia flowers, peach blossoms, and nameless wild flowers all over the mountains are competing to open, and the aroma is compelling, making tourists feel like they are in a paradise.

Wuyafeng Scenic Area is rich in natural resources. It is like a jade inlaid in Xiaoqinling Mountain at the southern foot of Songhan Ancient Road. The mountains are steep and beautiful, and the water resources are abundant. There are many springs and waterfalls, which are clear and bright, with good water quality and flowing all year round. There are 150 scenic spots, 10 cultural landscapes and 90 natural landscapes in the scenic spot. This area belongs to the nature reserve designated by the People's Government of Henan Province, which is characterized by the transition from the north subtropical zone to the south warm and humid zone. There are many kinds of plants, and it is also a natural place for all kinds of animals to live and multiply. There are 5 national second-class protected plants and 3-class protected plants 12. At this time, biodiversity has been effectively protected. There are more than 200 species of terrestrial vertebrates, including 16 species of national protected animals and 8 15 species of Chinese herbal medicines. It is a natural medicinal material library.
