2. Xixi Wetland. Xixi National Wetland Park is located in the west of Hangzhou, only 6 kilometers away from Wulinmen, the main city of Hangzhou, and only 5 kilometers away from West Lake. Western opera originated in Han and Jin Dynasties, developed in Tang and Song Dynasties, flourished in Ming and Qing Dynasties, declined in the Republic of China and revived in the contemporary era. Xixi is the only rare wetland in China that integrates urban wetland, agricultural wetland and cultural wetland, and it is also the first national wetland park in China.
3. Prince Edward Bay. Taiziwan Park is located in Nanshan Road, backed by Nanping Mountain, covering an area of 300 mu. It is the earliest wedding park in Hangzhou. According to legend, this place was once the National Salvation Garden of Wen Zhuang and Jing Xian, two princes in the Southern Song Dynasty (the voice of saving the country, the place where the ancient emperors suspended coffins, also known as the National Salvation Office), so it was called Prince's Bay.
4. Chrysanthemum. Chrysanthemum morifolium, also known as yellow chrysanthemum, is a specialty of Hangzhou. Anhui's It, Tuju, Miju and Henan's Dengju are all well-known tea chrysanthemums in China. Chrysanthemum has a long history of cultivation in China. "Hangzhou Baigongju" has been mentioned side by side with "Longjing Famous Tea". It used to be an ancient tribute.
5. Longjing tea. If you come to Hangzhou (especially Tomb-Sweeping Day) in spring, you must go to Longjing Village to buy some Longjing tea to take back. Good Longjing tea has a flat and smooth shape, light green and smooth color, fresh and high aroma, fresh and sweet taste and white leaves. There are two places in Hangzhou that focus on selling tea, one is Tea City (with high price) and the other is Longjing Village (with affordable price). When you buy tea in Longjing Village, remember to make a counter-offer, usually one-third to one-half.
6. West Lake lotus root starch. West Lake lotus root starch is a famous product in Hangzhou. It tastes sweet but not greasy. When taking it, you only need to mix it with a little cold water first, and then mix it with boiling water to make it paste. The brewed lotus root starch is crystal clear. Lotus root starch is sold in all major supermarkets, and the brand that Hangzhou people buy the most is Evian. The price is not expensive either. 20 yuan has about one bag.
7. Rie An Baili. Liye is located in Daciyan and Zhuge Bagua Village, famous scenic spots in China, and has been planting white lotus for nearly a thousand years. Beautiful natural environment and abundant and high-quality spring water irrigation make "Liye An Baili" have unique quality and flavor. Its white lotus skin warms the heart, its tears are big and round, as white as congealed fat, and it is stewed but not scattered. The soup is clear and delicious, which is really the treasure of the lotus.
