If you forget the Apple ID password, you need to create a new one. Follow these steps to reset the password on your computer, iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

1. Go to Apple ID (click here to go to Apple ID page) and click Reset Password.

2. Enter an Apple ID name, and then click Next. If you forget your Apple ID, you can click the link on this page to learn more.

3. You will see two options: email verification or answering security questions.

4. After clicking the link in the email or answering the security question, you will see the option to reset the Apple ID password.

Note: any service that stores or uses the old password needs to be updated with the new password (for example, MobileMe).

If you feel that your account is unsafe, please change your account password according to the above steps. In order to enhance account security, the password should be more than eight characters and contain numbers and letters.
