Lanzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by Gansu Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. The college, formerly known as Gansu National Defense Technical Secondary School, was founded in 1996. On may 20 13, it was renamed as Lanzhou vocational college of science and technology; 20 14 was included in the national college entrance examination enrollment plan.
