Peace and security are the themes of the times. Although Syria has been in turmoil, the Syrian people are very eager for peace, and not everyone wants to wage war. With the support of all parties, the war will subside sooner or later.
The conflict in Syria began in March of 20 1 1 and has been going on for 10 years. The European Union and the United States took the lead in imposing extensive sanctions on Syria, including prohibiting Syria from exporting oil to Europe, which reduced Syria's foreign exchange reserves by more than half, and the Arab League countries continued to exert pressure. 20 12, 18 In July, Syrian Defense Minister Rajha was killed in the capital Damascus, and the Assad regime seemed to be in jeopardy.
In ancient China, there was a saying that "separation must be combined for a long time". In the 5,000-year history of ancient China, China experienced several major separatist periods, the highest of which even lasted for hundreds of years, but it was finally unified and re-established the country. Many countries in the world are still in the era of great division, especially Syria. The war in Syria has lasted for eight years, the country is divided and the people are struggling. If it is divided for a long time, Syria will be unified in the future.
Judging from the conditions of a country's reunification, there are three main points:
First, the government and army of the country are strong enough to stabilize and unite the country, which is the basic condition for reunification.
Second, it is also very important that all ethnic groups and sects in China agree and yearn for reunification. If you don't want reunification, then at least you need to have enough power to suppress it.
Third, the support of world powers is very important, especially for a small country. Only when the great powers nod their heads and acquiesce in your reunification can the final reunification be achieved.
For Syria, at least in the short and medium term, it is impossible for the country to be unified. For the Syrian government, at least it has occupied the title of legitimate government. It can strengthen the strength of the occupied areas by grasping the restoration and reconstruction of the occupied areas, and then gradually realize domestic integration and gradual reunification.
