Low-rent housing is a system to solve the housing problem of low-income families through rent subsidies or in-kind distribution. However, spending money to buy property rights has become a real estate transaction, which not only leads to a fundamental change in the nature of low-rent housing, but also inevitably makes the public question the low-rent housing system, thus shaking the credibility of the government, which is unfavorable to the country and the people.
The low-rent housing system is undoubtedly good, but in some places, it often becomes a means of seeking personal gain under the banner of low-rent housing. Take Yucheng County's practice of "low-rent housing only sells but not rents" as an example. Most low-income families moved from the east to the west in order to live in low-rent housing.
