Two months ago, I left Guangzhou, where I lived and worked for eight years, and returned to my hometown of Zhanjiang.

I have always wanted to write something for this city since I came back, so I opened a column, "Blue of Guangzhou Bay", which will be updated continuously.

The first one is about the original intention.

The original intention is to record the city I finally chose to return to-Zhanjiang, every corner in my memory and newly discovered, through footsteps, shots and words.

In fact, I quite enjoy this feeling of "reliving memories", because the traces of the changes of the times fall on the streets, the shops I have eaten, the bookstores I have been to, and the buildings I like. From the perspective that I have grown up now, I will explore the traces of the past, and the new feeling I have come out is also an understanding of growth.

Zhanjiang is also a city with profound historical and cultural heritage. The reason why I decided to leave Guangzhou, where I have lived for many years, and return to Zhanjiang is partly because of the gratifying scene of Zhanjiang's development. However, in the torrent of changes in the times, some history may be eliminated and may disappear from now on, such as some local time-honored brands, arcade buildings and old city buildings. But these are all very important in this city because they represent the past history, prosperity and traces that once existed. I don't want to wait until all these "urban history" disappear in the future, so I regret why I didn't record the traces of their existence, because I know that our ability is limited and we can't stop the iteration of urban renewal, so we can only record and remember.

I named it "Guangzhou Bay Blue" because I like Zhanjiang's old name "Guangzhou Bay" very much. And "Guangzhou Bay" has a very special meaning to me, because when I was a child, there was a hotel near my home called "Guangzhou Bay Hotel", which should be known to all the old Zhanjiang people. My parents got married in Guangzhou Bay Hotel. But when I was in junior high school or high school, the hotel finally closed down and was demolished. So the first time I knew about "Guangzhou Bay", it actually came from this "Guangzhou Bay Hotel".

"Blue", I think, is the main color of Zhanjiang. Before I went to college, we were used to the blue sky in Zhanjiang. After I went to Guangzhou to go to college, every time I went back to Zhanjiang on vacation, my favorite photo was actually the blue sky and white clouds in Zhanjiang. The sky in big cities feels far away, because it is above high-rise buildings, but the blue sky in Zhanjiang feels very close, especially standing by the sea, and it feels within reach.

Apart from Taiwan Province Province, Zhanjiang Blue is my favorite city that I have been to in recent years. Many people may say that the blue in Tibet, Xinjiang and Dali are all beautiful. Yes, there is a more beautiful blue sky, but in the distance where I have not set foot, what I love most now is the blue of my hometown.

After returning to Zhanjiang for more than two months, it has completely become a sky control. Most of the photos in the mobile phone are blue sky, white clouds and sea, and I won't get tired of taking pictures, because the sky is always different. I am always elated by the beautiful scenery I inadvertently look up and see, and I can't help taking pictures. I like this filter-free blue color.

Many people will say that Zhanjiang is beautiful when they look at my circle of friends, but in fact, the real beauty of Zhanjiang can only be discovered slowly if you really live here. Because life here is not as colorful as Beishangguang, there is no gorgeous city coat here, only simple citizen life and the natural features and historical details of coastal cities.

Now I like narrative, without flowery rhetoric, but it makes people feel sincere, natural and life. I will also use such words to record every corner of Zhanjiang I have walked through.

I'm going to change a Fuji micro-order and hold a SLR, just for better works; I plan to buy a small electric car, so that I can seamlessly shuttle through the streets; I'm going to get a license plate so that I can go further. People with a sense of car have always been afraid of learning to drive! ! ! )

Zhanjiang is a sea city in western Guangdong far from the national center, at the southernmost tip of China, that is, starting from Mohe, all the way south and ending in Zhanjiang. I want more people to see the beauty of Zhanjiang and know the story of Guangzhou Bay. The blue sky and the sea are our standard, and the rich seafood food is known to the outside world, but there are more lives and corners worth recording.

Now I only have time to take photos on weekends, so the update frequency will not be very frequent, but I hope that every update and every story will make you feel warm and beautiful.
