How to maintain the flower arrangement of snapdragon (cutting method and matters needing attention of snapdragon)
Snapdragon, also known as bibcock flower, lion flower, longkou flower and rare finch, is a perennial herb of Plantago. The snapdragon means that it is rich in gold, lively and prosperous, with bright colors, beautiful flowers and high ornamental value. Can be cultivated at home. In warm spring or autumn, when the snapdragon grows to about 9 cm and has 8 to 10 true leaves, it can be cutted and propagated.

I. Cutting method

1. Cutting time

The snapdragon can bear a certain degree of cold, but it can't bear high temperature. The cutting time of snapdragon is most suitable in warm spring or autumn, but not in summer and severe winter, which is not conducive to the survival of cuttings.

2. Cutting selection

Select snapdragon, which is about 9 cm long and has 8 to 10 true leaves and is growing well. When coring, leave 4 to 6 true leaves at the lower end, and pick tender heads with about 4 true leaves at the upper end as cuttings.

3. Preparation of matrix

The cuttage of snapdragon can choose river sand with good drainage and permeability as the substrate. After selecting the substrate, a small amount of carbendazim can be added or exposed to sunlight 1 ~ 2 days for disinfection. After disinfection, coarse sand and fine sand are screened out with a fine mesh. Coarse sand is placed at the bottom of the container to two thirds, and fine sand is placed above the coarse sand to one third of the container mouth.

Step 4 cut

Before cutting, poke holes in the substrate with a wooden stick of about 3 mm, and the distance between each hole is about 2.5 cm× 3 cm. When cutting, the cuttings are inserted into the holes and the surrounding soil is compacted, and then water is poured once with a fine hole watering can to complete the cutting.

Second, matters needing attention

After the cutting is completed, place the cuttings in a well-ventilated and scattered place for maintenance, water them once in the morning and once in the evening, keep the substrate moist, control the temperature at 15-20℃, wait patiently for 10 days to take root, then raise them for a while, and transplant them into a pot after the roots grow soundly.
