During the period of 1946, when Robert Payne, an American sinologist, visited Yan 'an, he had a conversation with the author of Chun Xue in the Garden. According to Payne's memory, the author mentioned "Spring and Snow in the Garden": "Ah, that's a good poem. I wrote it on the plane. It was my first time to fly. I admire the magnificence of my country from the air. "
Japanese scholars Taijun Takeda and Takeuchi Minoru also quoted Payne's words in their works. Sun, a professor at the Nanjing Institute of Political Science of the Shanghai People's Liberation Army, also supported this statement in The Mystery of China's History published in The History of the Party, No.8, 20 12.

The second view is that "Qinyuanchun Snow" was written in Yuanjiagou, Shaanxi.
According to an article in Shaanxi Daily, "Anti-Japanese Pioneer, Crossing the River to the East", 1936 On the afternoon of February 5, the author led the Red Army headquarters 100 people to the east, traveled more than 30 kilometers, arrived at Yuanjiagou, Alex Gao Village, Qingjian County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, and stayed at the home of local farmer Bai Yucai to prepare for the Red Army's anti-Japanese vanguard to cross the Yellow River eastward. During my stay in Yuanjiagou, it snowed heavily for several days. Standing on the Loess Plateau, the author saw a magnificent scenery from a distance. The author is full of poetry and happily created the immortal poem "Spring and Snow in Qinyuan".
Later, Bai Bingchi, the son of Bai Yucai, became a volunteer commentator in the village and often introduced to tourists: "(The author) returned to this cave that night, pressed on two tables, lit candles and wrote a draft on a page."

Now, the small square table used by the author when he wrote "Spring and Snow in Qinyuan" is still in the cave where he lived.
The third statement, Qinyuan Spring Snow, was written in Liu Cun, Shanxi.
The Documentary of the Long March published by People's Publishing House in 2006 records that in February 1936, the author led the Red Army's anti-Japanese vanguard to cross the Yellow River and reach Liucun, Yidie Town, shilou county, Luliang City, Shanxi Province. The author wrote "Qinyuanchun" in Liucun. It's snowing.
Wang Dacheng, the former vice minister of the Ministry of Textile Industry, who was then the head of the Shaanxi (Shanxi) organization, recalled: "A meeting attended by cadres at or above the regiment level was held, and three major tasks of' red expansion, red fund-raising and red transformation' were deployed. ..... At this moment, the chairman said that he had recently written a word for everyone to circulate. Everyone said "original wax flooding" after reading it, and thought it would be better to change "flooding" to "chi" because "flooding" is somewhat passive, while "chi" is more active and open. The chairman was very happy after listening and said,' What a change!' "
Today, shilou county Liucun created Qinyuanchun? Ice and snow cultural park, an important place for red education. Not only that, Liu Cun also built a Qinyuanchun primary school.
