Hulunbeier people welcome guests with wine to show hospitality.
(1) The guest picked up the glass and dipped a little wine with his ring finger. After touching his thumb, he pointed at the sky above his head, at the place under his feet, and at the place on the right side of his body (by the fire), meaning to respect the sky, the earth and the fire. Then, he drank all the wine. This form comes from Mongolian worship of heaven, earth and fire.
(2) The guest touches a little wine with his ring finger, flicks it up and down after touching his thumb, and puts it on his forehead, meaning "Yong 'an in the sky, Yong 'an on the ground and Yong 'an in life". Greet heaven, earth and yourself, and drink all the wine. If you can't drink well, you can take a sip of wine and touch your lips.
Second, the fire taboo
Mongols worship fire, Vulcan and Kitchen God, and think that fire is a sacred thing. Don't roast your feet on the stove when you enter the yurt, don't cross the stove, don't throw dirt on the stove, and don't pick a fire with a knife.
Third, water taboo
Mongolians believe that water is a pure god and dare not throw unclean things into the river. Grassland is dry and short of water, and water plants graze it, so it can't survive without water. Therefore, herders are used to saving water, paying attention to keeping water clean and taking water as the source of life.
Fourth, into the package
Enter the yurt from the left side of the stove and sit on the west or north side of the yurt, because the east side is the owner's residence. When seated, don't block the Buddha statue hanging on the Hana (wall) in the north. When you enter a Mongolian family, no matter whether it is a yurt or a brick house, you can't sit on the threshold or step on it.
Five, love animals
When the car is driving on the grassland, the Lu Yu herd should whistle early to let the herd avoid it earlier. Otherwise, the vehicle will suddenly shock the livestock, and the livestock will lose weight if they run in a hurry. If you meet cattle in the grassland, cars and pedestrians should detour and don't pass through the cattle, otherwise it will be considered as disrespect for the owner.
