The overall layout of the central house of Changshi Manor is composed of two quadrangles, the lower house and the upper house, with long rows of caves symmetrically built on both sides of the upper and lower house buildings. In front of the gate, a stone is used to support the embankment, which is 3.4 meters high, 4 meters wide and 80 meters long. The crossbeam of the doorpost is erected, the six beasts of Wuling are hard on the top of the mountain, the blue tiles are linked with dripping water, the bricks are made of water, and the drum surface is embossed with "Kirin to send the child" to help the two lions play. There are symmetrical inverted halls and ear rooms on both sides of the lower hall, a mill in the round door on both sides, and a donkey shed and toilet in the round door on the east side.

Climb the steps of the second door until you reach the upper yard. Go to the front line, sit in the five-hole stone kiln in the north and south, cross the corridor and hug the tiger, with high doors and bright windows. There are two hidden kilns on both sides of the main kiln, and the three holes of the box kiln are arranged on both sides of the main yard. It is a typical "four or six boxes and five bright secret door kiln". The hanging flower door between the upper and lower courtyards is a roll shed type with double screen doors, which open before and close after weekdays, walking on both sides, avoiding the main house and heading straight for the gate. The brick carvings on the wall in front of the door are pine cranes, bamboo deer and grass.

The cave in the back hill of the manor house is a typical big cave, with five holes in the front and six holes on both sides, and it is in good condition as a whole. Another big hole courtyard of the manor is located at the back of the central house, which consists of a large-scale "four-six-box kiln with five bright and six dark rooms" on the upper part and a seven-hole courtyard lined up on the lower part, forming a relatively closed big hole courtyard with good protection.

The whole manor is integrated with the gully slope of the mountain. The building is built on the mountain and divided into platforms.
