What is an industrial alliance?
Industrial alliance: refers to a cooperative mode in which enterprises cooperate with each other and integrate resources in order to ensure the market advantages of each partner, seek new scale, standards, functions or positioning, deal with competitors with the same interests or push their business into new fields. Alliance members can be limited to enterprises in a certain industry, or they can be enterprises in the same industry and cross-industry with various components. There is generally no capital connection between alliance members, and all enterprises have equal status and operate independently. Due to the combination of enterprises, industrial alliance can form greater synergy and influence in a certain field, which can not only bring new customers, markets and information to member enterprises, but also help enterprises focus on the development of core business. Compared with M&A mode, industrial alliance can realize a wide range of resource allocation with lower risk, avoiding the integration process that may take months or even years in M&A, thus becoming an important means for enterprises to complement each other's advantages, expand their development space, improve their competitiveness and achieve extraordinary development.
