A letter from the arrangement of vaccination for minors in Tai 'an, COVID-19 to our classmates and parents.
Dear parents and classmates,
Hello!
At present, the epidemic situation in COVID-19 is still spreading around the world, and some parts of China have local clustering epidemic situation, and the pressure of external defense investment and internal defense rebound persists. Vaccination with COVID-19 vaccine can effectively reduce the risk of infection and morbidity in COVID-19. Although most children infected with COVID-19 virus are mild, some of them may still develop into serious diseases or even die. At the early stage, COVID-19 vaccination was given to people over 18 years old in China. By July 25, 2002 1 year, the cumulative number of people vaccinated exceeded1500 million, and the number of people vaccinated in our province also exceeded100 million. At present, the number of vaccinations in Tai 'an exceeds 5 million. Evaluation of clinical trial data proves that COVID-19 vaccine is also safe and effective for people aged 3- 17. According to the unified deployment of National Health Commission, according to the principles of territorial management, convenience nearby, voluntary knowledge and safety, COVID-19 vaccination was carried out in a planned and step-by-step manner in early August for people aged 12- 17. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
First, the vaccination population and timetable
At the beginning of August, people aged 15- 17 were vaccinated; At the end of August and the beginning of September, people aged 12- 14 were vaccinated; At the end of September, the population aged 12- 17 was fully vaccinated.
Second, the organizational form
Out-of-school crowd: Vaccination is arranged by community organizations or individuals.
Three. Vaccination and immunization procedures
At present, the relevant state departments have approved the emergency use of COVID-19 inactivated vaccine produced and packaged by China Bio-Beijing Institute of Biological Products Co., Ltd. (Beijing Bio) and Beijing Kexing Zhongwei Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Kexing Zhongwei) among people aged 3- 17. Vaccinate two doses throughout the whole process, and the interval between two doses is recommended to be ≥3 weeks. The second dose should be completed as soon as possible within 8 weeks after inoculation of 1 dose.
Iv. contraindications to vaccination
Contraindications of COVID-19 vaccination for minors are consistent with those for adults. Children with the following conditions cannot be vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine:
(1) Those who are allergic to active ingredients of the vaccine, any inactive ingredients, substances used in the production process, or those who have been allergic to similar vaccines before;
(2) Those who have had severe allergic reaction to the vaccine in the past (such as acute allergic reaction, angioneurotic edema, dyspnea, etc.). );
(3) Patients with uncontrolled epilepsy and other serious nervous system diseases (such as transverse myelitis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, demyelinating diseases, etc.). );
(4) Patients suffering from fever, acute disease, acute attack of chronic disease or uncontrolled serious chronic disease;
(5) Other circumstances that vaccination staff think are not suitable for vaccination after evaluation.
Adverse Reaction of verb (abbreviation of verb) and its Treatment
The occurrence of common adverse reactions after vaccination with COVID-19 vaccine is basically similar to other vaccines that have been widely used. Most of them are systemic reactions, mainly manifested as local reactions such as redness, induration and pain at the inoculation site, as well as systemic reactions such as fever, fatigue and headache. Usually, this reaction will disappear by itself with the passage of time, without special treatment, and the second dose can be inoculated as usual. However, some people are still allergic to the ingredients of the vaccine. Such as acute allergic reaction, angioneurotic edema, dyspnea and other serious reactions. After inoculation with 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccine, or if there are other contraindications, the second dose is not recommended.
Matters needing attention before and after vaccination of intransitive verbs
/kloc-people under the age of 0/8 need to be accompanied by guardians throughout the vaccination, and carry the identity documents of guardians and children; Personal protection should be done during the whole process, such as wearing masks and rice noodles.
(1) Before vaccination: the guardian should know about the vaccination situation of COVID-19's disease and COVID-19, and bring relevant identity documents (ID card or household registration book) for the child, if any, please also bring the vaccination certificate; Avoid children's fasting and fatigue before vaccination, and remind children to wear loose clothes on the same day to facilitate vaccination.
(2) After arriving at the inoculation point: before inoculation, the inoculation doctor should be informed of the health status and the contraindications of inoculation, and the inoculation can only be carried out after the doctor has evaluated and the guardian has signed the informed consent form; Stay in the same place for 30 minutes after inoculation and leave after confirming that there is no abnormality; If you feel unwell, inform the doctor in time.
(3) After leaving the inoculation point and returning to China: If the child is in poor health, he should report to the inoculation unit and seek medical treatment in time; Children should have a light diet within 1 week and have a good rest to avoid excessive exercise and fatigue.
I wish all my classmates good health and progress every day!

Are domestic vaccines useful for Delta mutants? Yes, it is very safe. On July 3 1, Zhong Nanshan, an academician of China Academy of Engineering, gave a clear answer when attending a summit in Guangzhou. He pointed out that China needs 83.3% vaccination rate to achieve mass immunization. To this end, he especially called on everyone to pay attention to vaccination.
δ mutant has become the main mutant spreading in COVID-19. On July 27th, Nanjing reported that the mutant that caused the epidemic in Nanjing was Delta mutant.
According to the clinical immune results, the seroconversion rate of COVID-19 mutant to δ mutant decreased slightly, reaching 87.5%. However, traditional Chinese medicine vaccine has the protection ability to α, β and δ strains, and the neutralization ability to α strain decreased by 6.7%, and the protection ability remained basically unchanged. The neutralization ability of β strain and δ strain decreased by 47% and 32% respectively. "The inspection of these China vaccines in the laboratory found that their comprehensive efforts to kill the virus have declined, but they still have protective effects." Zhong Nanshan said.
According to him, according to the study of Delta variant that broke out in COVID-19 in May this year, the results proved that the domestic vaccine had protective effect. According to preliminary statistics, the protective effect of the vaccine on severe cases is 100%, and the protective effects on moderate, mild and asymptomatic cases are 76.9%, 67.2% and 63.2% respectively. Related research results will be published later.
"When we first met Delta mutants in Guangzhou, we used the old method at first, but it didn't work. We found that the speed at which new patients have to be isolated lags far behind the speed at which the virus spreads. I was also very anxious at the time. " Zhong Nanshan recalled.
Why does delta mutant spread so fast?
"The virus carrying capacity of Delta mutant in human body is 100 times higher than that of ordinary plant height, and its spreading ability is stronger; The incubation period in vivo is short, only 1-3 days; It takes a long time to turn negative in the body, as long as 13- 15 days is much longer than the 7-9 days of ordinary strains. " Zhong Nanshan pointed out that due to the high viral load in infected people, the infectivity increased. For example, the Guangzhou epidemic spread for five generations in 10 day.
