The fraud case of Ctrip Luyue Group in Thailand continues to ferment, so let us know the whole story of the incident.
It is reported that Lv Yue Group, a subsidiary of Ctrip, entered the Thai market in 20 17. The company is promoted by Ctrip Tourism Investment. In order to expand its influence in Thailand, it invested in major online advertisements and rented a number of hotels, and opened 13 hotels in Thailand. 20 18 Lv Yue group, a subsidiary of Ctrip, lured its beloved Koh Samui into signing a joint venture contract and a lease contract for luxury seaview hotel in Koh Samui, with Zhu Hua Hotel Company in Chiang Mai as its representative company. The two parties agreed to lease it from July 20 1 year 18, and agreed to jointly establish Zhu Warner Tongda Seaview Samui Co., Ltd., which will be jointly operated by both parties.
The beloved Samui handed over the hotel to Zhu Hua Hotel Company in Chiang Mai, a subsidiary of Ctrip, and continued to operate for 2 months. Lv Yue Group, a subsidiary of Ctrip, not only collects all operating income privately, but also sends employees to dismantle hotel facilities in the name of requiring renovation. The beloved Samui found that the hotel was unfinished and the items were lost, and began to urge the Lv Yue delegation of Ctrip to give a reply, but the Lv Yue delegation of Ctrip evaded it for various reasons. According to the lease contract, Lv Yue Group, a subsidiary of Ctrip, shall pay the rent for the next year (July 2065438 +09-June 30, 2020). Ctrip's Lv Yue Group not only failed to pay the rent, but also continued to delay cheating for various reasons. We have been delaying the time by deception, inducement and other means, and finally evacuated all the personnel from the hotel, resulting in a mess of the hotel.
When necessary, the beloved Samui reported the case to the Samui police station. Seeing that the situation was unfavorable to us, Lv Yue Group, a subsidiary of Ctrip, sent a legal representative to Bangkok to negotiate, and promised that if beloved Samui canceled the press conference, the two sides would negotiate on the basis of compensation of 36 million baht.
Note that this email also informed all the senior executives of Lv Yue Group at that time, including the then CEO Zhang Qiang.
Dear Su Mei canceled the press conference at the request of Ctrip Travel Yue, and was once again cheated by Travel Yue Group. In desperation, the beloved Samui formally sued Ctrip's Lv Yue Group. The case was tried many times by Bangkok Arbitration Tribunal. The arbitral tribunal in Bangkok ruled that the beloved Samui won the case and should receive compensation of about 65 million baht (equivalent to more than 65.438 million RMB).
Lvyue Group, a subsidiary of Ctrip, not only ignored the compensation awarded by the Bangkok Arbitration Tribunal, but also secretly transferred Thai assets through various illegal means. After many unsuccessful claims, the Bangkok Civil Court again ruled that the beloved Samui won the case and should receive 65 million baht in compensation and 7% interest. Faced with the claim, Lv Yue Group repeatedly delayed its denial, abandoned the hotel, not only refused to pay compensation, but also withdrew all its personnel to China.
In the three years since the epidemic, beloved Samui has been actively defending her rights through legal channels under various pressures. The beloved Samui's rights protection efforts not only received corresponding compensation from the hotel, but also did not receive a positive response from Lv Yue Group. Even if it was forced to file an enforcement lawsuit with the civil court, and the civil court ruled that the enforcement case was successful, Ctrip's Lv Yue Group still refused to perform the corresponding judgment, allowing the creditors' losses to continue to increase.
Ctrip, as an influential international enterprise, has a market value of over 100 billion yuan. Why doesn't it fulfill the claim for compensation decided by Thai law? Why should we ignore the arbitral tribunal's ruling and the court's judgment? Even turned a deaf ear to the legitimate creditor's rights of more than 6,543,800 yuan. Is Ctrip really heavily in debt and seriously short of money as people say? Is Ctrip intentionally trampling on the dignity and legitimate demands of China people in Thailand? Is Ctrip short of10 million? Where is Ctrip's corporate responsibility? But no matter what the truth is, as an influential multinational company, without corporate responsibility and responsibility, how can Ctrip deserve the title of a big international company! Ctrip's bad behavior is obviously detrimental to its own image, which is seriously inconsistent with the multinational companies it promotes. Its debt repayment behavior in Thailand really disappointed the industry.
Even if Ctrip is really short of money, it can't rely on debt. Paying off debts is an eternal truth. In order to avoid debt, does Ctrip ignore even the most basic corporate image? What is the difference between the extremely bad behavior and attitude of Ctrip Luyue Group and the local ruffians and hooligans? Street punks still know the word "faithfulness". Is Ctrip not even as good as street hooligans? Isn't this demeaning? Debt has no borders, justice is upheld, and illegal and criminal acts such as debt evasion and breach of contract are resolutely cracked down, which are effective ways to curb fraudulent companies such as Lv Yue Group, a subsidiary of Ctrip. Its shameless and illegal behavior is not worthy of the positioning of the self-proclaimed "Ctrip International Famous Brand". It has not only seriously damaged the legitimate rights and interests of Thai enterprises and China investors, but also seriously affected China's legitimate corporate image and international credit, which should be condemned by public opinion and punished by law.
