Matters needing attention in the speech of thanks
In order to write a high-quality and perfect thank-you speech, in addition to grasping the above requirements, we must also "pay attention" to the following aspects:

1. Politeness and content

"Rite" is an expression of etiquette, and "thing" is a practical thing. On the one hand, you need to be polite; On the other hand, politeness should serve the content, not too much, not too much, so as not to cause the other party's disgust.

2. Friendship and principles

When talking about bilateral relations, we should fully express our friendly feelings and wishes, but we should not lose our principled position. Sensitive issues should be avoided as much as possible (they should be solved at the negotiating table), and unavoidable contradictions and differences should be properly expressed with a frank attitude, a gentle tone and euphemistic words. Be careful not to hurt each other's feelings with rude words or carelessness.

3. Past and future

Mr. Lien Chan quoted it well: "The dead are gone, and those who come can be chased." We should not entangle the contradictions and differences in the past, but face the future and make peace. Therefore, in his speech, we should talk less about the "bitterness" of the past and more about the "light" of the future. Here, Mr. Lien Chan's speech is a model.

4. Reality and Hypothesis

Perhaps, the "realistic" bilateral relations are not so satisfactory, and there are even great contradictions and differences. In this case, we can give some hints in the speech, but we should concentrate on pen and ink to make a more perfect "vision", because "vision" itself is "facing the future", but "imagination" is not "reality" after all and is not suitable for such reality. Adverbs such as "certain" and "inevitable" should be avoided and expressed by "pen of imagination", such as hypothetical conjunctions and conceptual verbs with "feeling" and "hope" meanings. In this respect, Mr. Lien Chan has done an excellent job. Look at his idioms:

"If" (used twice), "I believe" (5 times), "I feel" (3 times), "I personally feel" (1 time), "I feel" (1 time) and "I am looking forward to it" (1 time).

5. "Opinions" and "opinions"

"Opinions", that is, your own opinions and opinions; "People's views" refer to other people's views and opinions. Of course, words of thanks mainly express "opinions"; However, when your thanks are behind the other person's "welcome words" or "farewell words", it is best to quote the other person's point of view and incorporate your own point of view. Doing so can not only enrich the connotation of the speech, but also skillfully coordinate the relationship between the two sides and enhance the harmonious atmosphere. For example, Mr Lien Chan quoted General Secretary Hu Jintao twice:

(1) As the general secretary said just now, today's gathering is the first time for the Kuomintang and the * * * production party in 60 years, and it is also the highest-level meeting and exchange between the party and the party under the cross-strait situation in 56 years. It's commendable!

(2) Today, as the General Secretary said just now, we are based on goodwill, trust, the well-being of people on both sides of the strait and the long-term interests of the country.

This kind of quotation shows the recognition of the opinions of the "other party" and is also a kind of "* * * understanding" between the two sides, which is obviously friendly.

Step 6 "thank you" and "thank you"

"Thank you" means to thank you in words; "Thank you" means to thank you with practical actions. Confucius advocated "Listen to what he says and observe what he does" (The Analects of Confucius Gongye Chang), which shows that "doing" is one of the most important aspects of winning people's trust. Generally speaking, "grateful" words should clearly express "how to thank each other for their help with practical actions" (as in the last paragraph of Example 2 cited above); "Thank you-meet" words of thanks often imply "thank you" in the expectation of the future. Generally, they don't say what they will do, but often refer to "we ..." as * * * actions of both sides. For example, Mr Lien Chan said:

If we can all face up to … and pursue the future with a positive attitude, I believe …

We try our best to establish a virtuous circle. ...

Let's seize the present and create the future together. ...

7. Straight and curved

This is a dialectical requirement for "composition" and "expression". The words of gratitude, whether in structure or expression, should be straight rather than curved, that is to say, they should be written straight according to their structural routines and logical levels, without ups and downs in the composition, and the written expression should be straightforward, excluding any form of euphemism. However, the word "thank you" is not completely correct. It requires "seeking straightness in composition and seeking pleasure in expression". Please read a sentence from Mr. Lien Chan:

Of course, China Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China (CPC) had conflicts in the past, and everyone knows the historical process. But history is a thing of the past after all, and we can't change it at this moment, but the future is in our hands. Of course, the course of history will not be smooth, but this uncertain era and uncertain future provide us with many opportunities in particular.

……

It seems that you are half swallowing and half vomiting, but you can turn around and try your best. Can be described as cadence, twists and turns!

8. "elegance" and "vulgarity"

This is a dialectical requirement for speech language. Like other speech documents, thank-you words attract the ear. If people want to listen to it sweetly, they should organically combine beautiful and elegant written language with lively spoken language, so as to obtain the aesthetic feeling of appealing to both refined and popular tastes.
