How are lanterns made by hand?
Manufacturing steps of handmade lanterns:

1. Cut off 3/4 inch from the bottom of the cylindrical container. This will be the basis of lanterns.

2. Cut out two pieces of wax paper, which are 18.5 inches wide and 9 inches high. Put one on the ironing board and leaves with their brightest side facing you.

3. When the leaves are arranged as required, carefully stick a second layer of wax paper on the leaves. Carefully iron the wax paper and melt the two pieces together. At this point, you may need to trim the edge to make it straight.

4. Cut 3/4 inch wide strips from the cardboard. Stick the tape along the entire bottom and top edge of the wax paper, and make sure that the tape is stuck on the brightest side of the display page.

5. Next, connect the wax paper to the base by making the bottom of the wax paper flush with the bottom of the base. Carefully stick it on the edge of the base and wrap wax paper around it. Using a hot glue gun can simplify this step, but it must be fast. ) In the end, there will be some overlap between the edges of the two pieces of wax paper, so the lantern is sealed into a cylinder with glue from bottom to top.

6. Next, punch two holes near the top of the lantern with a punch. These holes should face each other. Connect any type of handle through two holes.

In this way, the handmade lanterns are finished.
