What are the common causes of abnormal chassis noise?

1. Interference between components

Possible reasons: due to impact or installation of other equipment, the two components interact with each other.

Solution: Only through plastic repair or replacement of relevant parts to prevent interference between parts.

2. Loose bolts or nuts

Possible reasons:

A. After driving on roads with poor road conditions for a long time, the bolts will naturally loosen;

B. Improper disassembly and installation damage the bolts;

C. The tightening torque is insufficient or the bolt specifications are incorrect.

Solution: Tighten or replace bolts and nuts.

3. Transmission shaft universal joint failure

Possible reasons: rupture of dust cover or oil leakage caused by failure to repair in time

Solution: Replace with a new transmission Axis universal joint

4. Abnormal noise caused by damage to each ball head, suspension, and connecting bracket

Possible reasons: After long-term use, the ball head becomes loose or the rubber gasket ages. Failure caused by rupture

Solution: Replace a new ball head or support pad

5. Abnormal noise in the braking system

Possible reasons:

A. Brake pads, brake calipers or brackets are loose;

B. Brake pads or brake discs are faulty;

Solution: Check whether the braking system is loose. Check whether the pads and brake discs are abnormally worn.

6. Abnormal noise from the wheel hub bearing

Occurs at a certain vehicle speed, with a "buzzing" sound that increases as the vehicle speed increases.

Possible reasons: Most are caused by wheel hub bearing ablation.

Solution: Replace the wheel hub bearing with a new one. (It is recommended to replace both sides at the same time)

7. Abnormal tire noise

Possible reasons:

A. Problems with the tire itself

B , Abnormal tire wear

Solution: Check whether the tires have abnormal wear. If so, check whether the chassis is loose or improperly assembled. If not, it is a problem with the tire itself.

8. Abnormal noise in the transmission

Possible reasons: Internal gear wear or lack of oil

Solution: First check whether the transmission lubricating oil is sufficient, if there is no external fault Only after unpacking and inspection.

9. Abnormal noise in the clutch

Usually there is abnormal noise after depressing the clutch pedal

Possible reasons: The release bearing is low in oil and wears out

Solution: Replace with new release bearing
