Cardamom usually refers to the age of women.
Thirteen or fourteen years old

Cardamom: From the poem "Farewell" written by Du Mu, a poet in the Tang Dynasty: "Cardamom lasted for more than thirteen years, and it ended in early February. It is better to roll up the bead curtain when the spring breeze is ten miles along Yangzhou Road. " Among them, cardamom refers to a thirteen-year-old girl. This poem was given by the poet to a good singer. From another poem on the same topic ("affectionate but always heartless"), we have deep feelings for each other. However, that poem focuses on "farewell", but this one focuses on praising each other's beauty and causing farewell.

"More than thirteen years, cardamom in early February." The first two sentences of this poem are about thirteen-year-old, with graceful posture and light manners, just like beancurd flowers in bud in early February.

The first sentence describes: "graceful" is a light and beautiful figure, and "thirteen wonders" is a woman's age. There is neither a person nor a noun in the seven words, but it can give people a complete, vivid and vivid impression and let people witness that beautiful image. This is the only sentence in the whole poem that describes the beauty of women positively. This sentence is still evasive and superficial, and the sentence is really ethereal. In the second sentence, I didn't write about women, but I wrote about spring flowers, obviously comparing flowers with women. Cardamom is produced in the south. When its flowers become spikes, the tender leaves are rolled up, spikes are crimson, leaves are gradually unfolded, flowers are gradually released, and the color is slightly lighter.

Southerners call people who pick buds "with moss flowers", which is often used to describe virgins. The "early February" cardamom flower is this kind of "moss flower", which is used as a metaphor for the "Thirteen Wonders" young singer, and its image is beautiful and appropriate. There are also flowers on the "tips" of branches, which tremble with the wind and are particularly lovely. So "cardamom tip" secretly took care of the word "graceful and restrained". The metaphor here is not only novel, but also very subtle; As if people are as beautiful as flowers, flowers are beautiful because of people. It is not an exaggeration to say that it is novel and unique. All metaphors such as "as beautiful as flowers and jade" and "falling in love with the country" will be eclipsed in front of such poems.

Du Mu's poems, from lovers to flowers, from flowers to downtown in spring city, from downtown to beauty, finally set off lovers. Twenty-eight words, fluent and comfortable.

Literature and art need constant innovation. There is always no way out for old attacks. Even a figurative description is unique. Looking at Du Mu's Farewell from this angle, we have to admit that he is a talented poet. Du Mu

Du Mu

Du Mu (803 ~ 853), a famous poet in Tang Dynasty, was born in Mu Zhi in Jingzhao Wannian (now Xi, Shaanxi). He is the grandson of Du You, a famous figure in the middle Tang Dynasty. Du Mu's childhood life was very ordinary because his father Du died early and his family wealth was not much.

Du Mu was brought up by his grandfather Du You. He likes reading the history of the Bible and has a flexible mind. When he 16 years old, it coincided with the court's war to quell Wu Yuanji's rebellion and conquer Li Shidao. He cared about national affairs and was interested in rejuvenating the country, so he began to pay attention to the study of the art of war. As an adult, he studied the historical experience of the rise and fall of dynasties by studying the thirteen generations of history books before the Tang Dynasty. Seeing that the palace was overhauled, the life was dissolute, and I didn't pay attention to the failure of state affairs, I wrote a famous poem "Epang Palace Fu", which was satirized by Qin Shihuang's repair of Epang Palace as an excuse, hoping that the emperor would accept the lesson of Qin's death. During this period, he practiced hard and became famous in the creation of poetry, fu and ancient prose.

Du Mu's poems have a wide range of themes. In addition to the above allegorical poems lamenting state affairs, there are lyric poems expressing feelings of life, travel notes describing natural scenery and epic poems. Among them, the seven-character quatrains of lyric scenery writing are the most famous. Such as "Walking the Mountain Road" and "Letter to Han Chuo's Yangzhou Magistrate". Most of his poems are hearty and elegant, and many famous sentences have been passed down from ancient times to the present. Of course, because Du Mu was born in an official family, the living habits of aristocratic children were obviously branded. When I was a shogun in Yangzhou and other places, my life was carefree and boring. He finished his work during the day and enjoyed the feast at night. He lived a bohemian life and wrote some works of "good feelings". He has a poem "Dream of Yangzhou for ten years is better than the notoriety of a brothel", which is the regret of his negative life. But on the whole, Du Mu is an accomplished poet, especially his patriotic enthusiasm, which is unmatched by other poets in the Tang Dynasty. His literary works are valuable heritages in China's ancient cultural treasure house.
