How to store hazelnuts to keep humidity?
I. Storage conditions

The water content of hazelnut is extremely low, only 3.5% ~ 7%, which is relatively resistant to storage. But hazelnuts are sensitive to temperature and humidity. During storage, the temperature exceeding 20℃ or long-term illumination will accelerate the transformation of fat and produce an inedible "spicy taste"; When the humidity is too high (the relative humidity of air is above 75%), nuts will be moldy. Therefore, the storage conditions of hazelnut are low temperature, low oxygen, drying and avoiding light. The suitable conditions are that the temperature is below 65438 05℃, the relative humidity of the air is below 60%, and the light in the warehouse is dark. Nuts can be stored for 2 years without deterioration.

Second, the storage method

1. General warehouse storage. Pure dried hazelnuts can be packed in sacks, wire baskets, net bags and other containers. Kraft paper is packed in small packages, each bag is 10kg, and the bag mouth is sealed, which can prolong the shelf life. The warehouse should be clean, dry, ventilated, cool and free of rodents. It is forbidden to store with kerosene, gasoline or other odorous articles, drugs and corrosive articles. Bags can be stacked in the warehouse, which not only reduces the floor space, but also facilitates inventory and handling. However, be careful not to put the sack near the ground, not against the wall, and leave a ventilated space. Check frequently during storage to prevent rain leakage, water immersion, pests and rats. In addition, it is necessary to ventilate frequently and keep it clean.

2. Carbon dioxide is stored in a sealed way. This is an effective measure to prevent hazelnut from deteriorating in summer. That is to say, on the basis of the superposition of the former method, plastic sheets are laid on the ground first, and then masks-plastic covers are covered on it after superposition. The edges of the upper and lower plastic sheets overlap and are compacted with sand to prevent air leakage. Then carbon dioxide is charged from the bottom. When the concentration of carbon dioxide in the range hood is diluted, it should be replenished at any time, and attention should be paid to prevent air leakage. At the same time, try to avoid the influence of external high temperature on the temperature in the warehouse.
