Professional introduction:
Surgery is the basic discipline of clinical medicine, including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, burn surgery, field surgery and other modules. Modern surgery not only includes the knowledge and skills of diagnosis, prevention and treatment of the above diseases, but also includes the research on the occurrence and development of diseases. Different modules are subdivided into many research directions.
Taking plastic surgery as an example, there are several research directions as follows: research on the mechanism and preventive methods of tissue necrosis, scar and wound healing of skin avulsion injury, peripheral nerve regeneration and long-segment defect repair, research on the principle and method of skin expansion, research on the mechanism and preventive methods of flap necrosis, and tissue engineering. The majors and research directions recruited by various colleges and universities are different according to their own attacks.
