Summary of practice in acupuncture department of hospital

The departments of Hengyang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, where I practiced, are relatively complete. Our department includes seven departments: internal medicine, Chinese pharmacy, radiology, emergency department, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, acupuncture and moxibustion. Now sum up my internship.

The most rewarding class is internal medicine.

During the three weeks of ward rounds in internal medicine and pediatrics, I followed the teaching teacher to make ward rounds every day, made doctor's orders, and took the temperature, blood pressure and report to the nurses every day.

One of the most important tasks of internal medicine and pediatrics is to learn how to write medical records, such as hospitalization records, course records, discharge records, consultation application forms, etc ... We all know nothing, from getting started slowly to getting familiar with it, writing more than three words wrong and copying another copy, so the fragments of medical records become our draft paper and are stuffed into the pocket of a white coat. In a few days, the weight of this bag is slowly expanding like fermented steamed bread. Among them, my biggest gain is to prescribe Chinese medicine. I listened to the patient's words, distinguished the exterior and interior of cold and heat, grasped the main aspects, selected prescriptions and gave them to the teaching teacher for reading. At this time, I gained the most, because the teacher usually adds and subtracts the prescription, explaining the patient's current situation, why these drugs should be added and why some drugs should be removed. My tutor is in charge of a patient with advanced brain metastasis from lung cancer. The patient has been in this hospital for three months. His illness is good and bad, and he is only skin and bones. He often has a fever and lives only by nasal feeding and intravenous drip. His brother is a veteran. Every morning when we come to make rounds, he will immediately stand up and give us a deep military salute. He said that although he knew that his brother was hopeless, he still became a doctor. 、

The most noteworthy department is the emergency department.

The emergency department is divided into internal medicine and surgery. Fortunately, the emergency departments of internal medicine and surgery have been rotated. Medical emergency is generally fixed, when it will be busy and when it will not be busy. When busy, patients can fill the whole clinic, and the most patients are at night. I was anxious when I first transferred to the emergency department, and I didn't know how to deal with the patient, so the teacher taught me to guide the patient or his family to register first. If I have a fever, I will measure the temperature of the thermometer in advance. If the patient is in a hurry, I will deal with it first. From patients with cold, fever, headache and dizziness to patients with palpitation, abdominal pain and hematuria, it basically covers basic common diseases in internal medicine. It is inevitable to pick up patients in emergency. Patients in internal medicine are usually treated by cerebrovascular accidents. Pick up an electric shock patient at a time, and when he came back, his pupils dilated, so the doctors on duty came to participate in the rescue, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and electric shock cardioversion ... The rescue for nearly an hour failed to save him, so the teaching doctor asked us to be interns to continue cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which also gave us a chance to practice. The teacher said that the pressing gesture should be clenched with both hands, the fingers are upturned, and only the palm roots touch the sternum; The depth of compression should be one-third of the chest, about 4-5 cm; The pressing posture is that the shoulders, elbows and wrists are in a straight line, and the body leans forward slightly; The pressing rate is 100 times per minute, and the formula is: 1 2, … 10,12, … 26, 27, 28, 29, 30. After each press, the chest must completely rebound to its original height, and the time for pressing the chest and rebounding should be the same. Relatively speaking, the surgical emergency department is relatively simple, and the general trauma patients need to clean the wound and perform debridement and suture. There are many patients in car accidents, including patients with multiple abrasions, fractures and concussions ... generally, X-rays and ct examinations are needed to determine the location and degree of injuries.

The most interesting department is obstetrics and gynecology.

Originally, I only arranged an internship in obstetrics and gynecology for one week. We haven't studied obstetrics and gynecology yet, but out of curiosity and love for obstetrics and gynecology, I chose to stay in obstetrics and gynecology for two weeks, one in the inpatient department of obstetrics and gynecology and one in the outpatient department of obstetrics and gynecology. During my one-week stay in the inpatient department, I was lucky enough to witness five natural deliveries, three cesarean sections and one hysterectomy. I was very excited when I first saw natural childbirth. When I saw the whole process of natural delivery, from the beginning of regular contractions, then cervical dilatation and rupture of fetal membranes, to the painful dystocia of parturient under the guidance of doctors and nurses, the fetal head was exposed during the whole delivery process, and finally the placenta was completely stripped and discharged, my mood fluctuated nervously with the emotional changes of parturient and the progress of delivery process. Finally, I am very excited about the baby's successful delivery. When the nurse showed the treated newborn to her mother, I was deeply moved by the satisfied and happy smile on her weak face. Mother is so great, and maternal love is so boundless. Then I stayed in the gynecological clinic for a week, and I followed my tutor. Within a week, I was exposed to basic common gynecological diseases, such as pelvic inflammatory disease, hysteromyoma, ovarian cyst, senile vaginitis, irregular menstruation and infertility. I studied the content and operation of gynecological examination and prenatal examination. Although I have never studied obstetrics and gynecology, what I have seen and heard in obstetrics and gynecology has left me with a deep perceptual knowledge, which will help me master this course better and more directly in the future.

Also, in orthopedic surgery, we help patients clean wounds and remove stitches every day, always keeping in mind the concept of sterility. The teacher also patiently teaches us to tie surgical knots and learn various operations and processes of surgical operation, including preoperative preparation, anesthesia operation, surgical process and postoperative observation and nursing. Actively study acupuncture, cupping and massage in acupuncture department, watch small needle knife surgery, and help patients with natural moxibustion in dog days. ...

Although the wonderful internship is over, I know that our long journey of studying medicine has just begun. After returning to campus, I gradually realized that the greatest significance of internship may not be how much medical knowledge you have learned and how many operations you have mastered during this period, but whether you are psychologically prepared to become a real doctor and work hard for this goal through these short three months.
