Lower eyelid surgery is artificially causing the lower eyelid to retreat and make the eyes wider. This operation can enhance the strength of the lower eyelid traction system through conjunctival approach and mattress suture without removing the lower eyelid tissue.
In this way, the lower eyelid will shrink downward and the eyes will open wide. With the opening of canthus and shortening of levator palpebrae superioris muscle, eyes will naturally be much bigger than before.
The advantage of this operation is to avoid ectropion of lower eyelid and separation of eyelid caused by external incision.
