CB system (IEC Electrical Product Qualification Testing and Certification System) is an international system operated by IECEE. The certification bodies of IECEE member countries test the safety performance of electrical products based on IEC standards, and the test results, namely CB test report and CB test certificate, are mutually recognized among IECEE member countries. Development of CB certification

Initially, CB system was initiated by CEE (former European National Committee for Qualification Testing of Electrical Equipment) and was incorporated into IEC in 1985. IECEE CB system is the first truly international mutual recognition system for safety test reports of electrical products. There is a multilateral agreement between national certification bodies (NCBs) in various countries, and manufacturers can obtain the national certification of other member countries of the CB system through CB test certificates issued by NCBs.
