Generally, some main branches, old branches, diseased branches and overgrown branches are pruned first to ensure reasonable density and growth space.
Cut the branches between the first and second shelf surfaces, and keep the mushroom-bearing parts on the first and second shelf surfaces every year to prevent the mushroom-bearing parts from moving outward or upward.
Cutting should be carried out according to the reasonable distribution of leaving a new fruit branch every 15~20 cm. Cutting methods include short branch pruning (leaving 2~3 buds), middle branch pruning (leaving 4~6 buds) and long branch pruning (leaving more than 7 buds), and the length depends on the size of the frame.
