However, don't underestimate it. Like Phaeton, the seemingly low-key Touareg was born with a golden spoon. Touareg, Bentley Tim Yue, Lamborghini Urus and many other ultra-luxury SUVs all come from the same platform. There is a joke circulating on the Internet: Touareg is the standard version, and Audi Q7 is its administrative version. But not everyone values the appearance and brand of a car. Just like this customer's big brother today, he was attracted by Touareg's low-key appearance and powerful interior. But the price of new cars is too high, and the depreciation is even worse. Think about it or the most cost-effective. The eldest brother who didn't entrust this test brought us this 07 old Touareg.

Usually, there are obvious flaws and scratches around the vehicle. After 1 1 year of wind and rain, the appearance damage of vehicles is inevitable. You can clearly see that there are many paint drops, and the front and rear bars are painted. There are also some scratches in other places, which have hurt the primer. Next, we carefully examine the surface of metallic paint with instruments. After testing, the numerical value of the machine cover is normal, and no traces of painting are found by naked eye observation.
It is also normal to continue to detect the paint surface of the left metal panel. The values are all around 120um, and there is no touch-up defect on the overall paint surface.
There are paint marks on the right back door, and there are metal pieces on the bottom, which should be caused by parallel road friction or turning. To be on the safe side, I repeatedly tested the paint value on the inside of the door frame and found no abnormality. There is no painting phenomenon in other panels on the right. From the appearance alone, this eleven-year-old Mr. Liu is perfect.
Open the cabin cover, and you will see that it is carrying 3.6L? The maximum output power of V6 engine is 280 HP (206 kW)/4,850-6,500 rpm, and the maximum torque is 360 Nm. Matching it is a 6-speed automatic manual transmission with air suspension. Power and comfort are beyond doubt. As for the problem of burning engine oil that everyone is worried about, I think it should not be a big problem for users who can afford Touareg.
When testing the engine room, in order to eliminate the frontal collision accident, I first checked the production dates of the left and right headlights, both of which were produced in June 2009. Combined with the details such as screws, I preliminarily judged that the headlights had not been replaced. There is no problem with the date of the windshield in front of the water tank.
The paint values of the left and right longitudinal beams, fender beams and damping tower top are also normal, and there are no traces of back glue repair, so the possibility of frontal impact can be ruled out.
Next, check the condition of the engine. The engine foot fixing screw has not been removed, and the surrounding accessories have not been removed.
The fixing screws of the belt pulley and crankshaft wheel at the front of the engine have not been removed, the oil filler has been opened, and the camshaft fixing screws have not been unscrewed, which can basically rule out the possibility of engine hoisting and disassembly. Lao Wang often sees netizens say that his car has been driving for many years, and a light bulb will be changed for normal maintenance. Is this Touareg the same? We continue to look down.
After the engine test, I tested the oil and battery of the whole car and found that everything was good except the battery life. The seller said that the car was there when it was collected, and the former owner parked the Touareg in the underground parking lot, which was covered with dust.
Walking into the car, the layout and details can better reflect the texture of an old luxury SUV, that is, this mahogany decorative board is a bit too abrupt now. After testing, all the functions and buttons in the car can be used normally. It seems that the owner's maintenance is still good. Next, we will test the details inside the car.
There are no signs of rust and mildew in the seat belt socket, seat bottom and steering column, but the seat screws are a little rusty. After investigation and testing, it is preliminarily judged that this situation should be caused by wet weather or residual water vapor from frequent foot washing, rather than blisters.
When I came to the back of the car body, I found that there were no shortage of tools on the car, and there were no water stains, silt and rust on the floor glue and the bottom of the spare tire groove. Our side has basically completed the static test, so far the car is in good condition, and even Lao Wang has the illusion that this Touareg is possessed by the land patrol.

Let me briefly talk about driving experience: First of all, the throttle responds quickly and the acceleration is direct. When driving gently, the posture of the car body is also very stable, and the sound insulation effect is still great. After years of bumps, the chassis doesn't feel a bit loose. Brake calipers are not old when braking suddenly. Generally speaking, the road test experience is very good, which once again makes Lao Wang, a senior German fan, laugh like an uncle.
There is a repair shop just opposite the detection position. I came straight after the road test. After some communication, I got up under the operation of the maintenance master.
Check the front as soon as you get under the car. There are no disassembly marks on the screws of the front subframe, and there are no disassembly marks on the lower arms and shock absorbers suspended on both sides.
There is a little oil leakage at the joint of engine gearbox, so we don't need to deal with it for the time being. There is no trace of disassembly of the connecting fixing screw, but Lao Wang found that the oil drain screw of the engine was stuck. It may be that the turnbuckle of the oil pan slipped after repeated maintenance, resulting in the oil drain screw not being tightened, and the oil pan may need to be replaced later.
There is basically no problem in other parts of the chassis, except that the brake disc needs to be replaced, and the groove on the side is already deep by hand, so as not to affect the braking effect in the future.
At this point, the vehicle inspection is all over. The exterior part of the vehicle is painted and there is an electronic fault code in OBD. The engine oil drain screw is stuck, and the tires and brake discs are badly worn and need to be replaced. Both the suspended rubber parts and the connecting water pipes of the engine may age later, so pay more attention. Please carry out the later normal maintenance of the vehicle according to the requirements of the vehicle maintenance manual after you get it.
