How do you cook the skin? What are the main raw materials used? Thank you!

There are two main methods for processing cooked leather, salting and drying. The specific methods are introduced as follows:

1. Salting method.

Soak the fresh skin in 50% salt solution for several days. Then mix with washing powder (2g/L) in warm water and soak the skin, then wash it with clean water after 10 minutes.

2. Drying method.

Apply or spray pesticides on the inside of the fresh leather (the fur side), and then promptly use a bamboo or wooden support to open the leather case (with the fur facing inward) and place it in a cool, dry and ventilated place , so that the board can dry quickly.

Notes:

When using the drying method to process fresh leather, do not forcefully stretch and widen the skin when shaping and applying it to avoid deformation of the skin, resulting in dense and thick coats. It may be uneven, but you must try your best to lay it flat and nail it firmly.

The above two processing methods are relatively simple, and the required materials are often seen and used in daily life, so they should not be difficult.
