Is Danish mink imitation fur?
If it is a real Danish mink, it is not imitation fur, but real fur. At present, Denmark is one of the major producers and exporters of mink in the world, with an annual output of about120,000 minks. There are two kinds of minks, domestic minks are mainly distributed in Shandong and Hebei, and imported minks are mainly distributed in Denmark and Finland.

The imported mink fur is very sharp, thick and large in overall shape. There are many grades of mink, all imported from Danish and Finnish auction houses, but there are few minks in China.

Advantages of imitation fur:

1, appearance

The appearance of polyurethane is very close to the dermis, and the pores on the dermis surface are clear and the lines are natural. Polyurethane, on the other hand, is an artificial epidermis with no pores but more regular lines.

2. Weight

The specific gravity of dermis is generally 0.6, while polyurethane is 0.3-0.5, which means that polyurethane is much lighter than dermis under the same conditions. For example, if you want to know whether a bag is genuine leather or polyurethane, you can weigh it. The dermis is much thicker.

Step 3 smell

Because leather is animal skin, it will have an odor and even a little stench. If formaldehyde and heavy metals exceed the standard during processing, leather often has a pungent smell. Polyurethane is much lighter, and you can't smell the pungent smell in good polyurethane.

Step 4 perform

Polyurethane and leather have very good practical properties, while polyurethane has flame retardancy, wear resistance, light resistance and aging resistance that leather does not have. Of course, polyurethane and dermis can achieve a certain balance in comprehensive properties.

5. Price

Under normal circumstances, leather (of course, leather) will be more expensive than polyurethane, and the price of leather will fluctuate due to the change of supply and demand. However, some advanced polyurethanes are very high-tech and will be more expensive than genuine leather.
