How to prevent wool fabric from shrinking
The washing principle of wool fabric is that the sooner the better. Generally speaking, the less laundry detergent is used, the easier it is for sweaters to shrink, so it's best to add more laundry detergent to prevent sweaters from getting smaller.
If it shrinks after washing, it can be cut into the size and shape of gloves with thick cardboard (cardboard of home appliance packaging box), and the incision is best polished with sandpaper to avoid hooking gloves. Put the gloves on the cardboard, fix them with several clothes pegs, then steam iron all parts of the sweater repeatedly with an electric iron, and take them off after they are completely cooled. The use of fabric softener can improve the hand feel.
