The open injury of abdominal wall not only has wounds on the abdominal wall, but also is often accompanied by abdominal organ injuries such as gastrointestinal, liver and spleen injuries. General symptoms are more serious, not only bleeding from abdominal wound, but also gastrointestinal contents may flow out from the wound, suggesting gastrointestinal injury. If there is a large amount of blood flowing out of the wound, it means that organs such as liver and spleen are broken, and it is necessary to race against time for first aid.
Treatment measures:
The first aid for abdominal wall injury is hemostasis. Abdominal wall injury hematoma should be cold compressed or bandaged in the early stage to prevent hematoma from expanding and swelling. You can apply hot compress later to promote blood absorption. If the hematoma is still not small, you can puncture and draw blood from the abdominal hematoma, and then apply pressure dressing. For open injury, cover the wound with sterile dressing and then send it to the hospital for suture. If you suspect abdominal organ injury, especially liver, spleen and gastrointestinal injury, you should be sent to the hospital as soon as possible.
