1. rhinoplasty by cartilage transplantation, in which a nasal margin wound or an intra-cartilage wound is made in the nostril to expose alar cartilage and nasal cartilage, and the head or tail of alar cartilage is removed as appropriate. The cut cartilage, after cutting and shaping, is stitched on the top of the vault to raise the nose, or the external ear cartilage can be cut for transplantation.
2. Bilateral alar cartilage medial foot approach rhinoplasty. Make bilateral lateral wounds of nasal columella, expose the medial foot and fornix of alar cartilage, remove the soft tissue between the two medial feet, and then make mattress suture at the upper and lower ends, that is, close the two medial feet. This method can raise the nose by 2-3 mm.
3. Wedge resection of alar base is used for nose reduction. If the shape of the alar is good and only slightly lower, the full-thickness wedge-shaped tissue is removed at the base of the alar on both sides, so that the nostrils are adducted and the dome is raised, that is, the alar is raised.
