Huanghua Depression is bounded by Cangdong Fault in the west, Cangxian Uplift in the east and Yang Er Zhuang Fault in the east, and intersects with Chengning Uplift. There are deep Cenozoic zones and loose deposits on it, with a thickness of 1000 meters. Cangdong fault and Yang Er Zhuang fault belong to the Neocathaysian system, and strike southwest-northeast.
