What is half good?

Body odor refers to a special odor emitted by the armpits of the human body. It is medically known as body odor or dyshidrosis. It is related to heredity, and many patients have a family history. This disease is more common in women and usually occurs in adolescence.

The human skin has two types of sweat glands: one is the eccrine glands distributed throughout the body; the other is the apocrine glands distributed in the armpits, around the nipples, umbilical fossa, anus, vulva and external auditory canal. The apocrine glands secrete a milky white paste or gel-like secretion. This secretion is originally odorless, but when decomposed by bacteria, it produces unsaturated fatty acids and emits a smell. Body odor mainly occurs in the armpits and is less common in other parts of the body.

In summer, the temperature is high, you sweat a lot, and bacteria grow and multiply easily, so the odor is obvious; on the contrary, in winter, the odor is not obvious. Paying attention to armpit hygiene, bathing and changing clothes frequently can reduce the odor.

There are many ways to treat body odor. Surgery (excision of armpit skin) or laser treatment can cure body odor, but infection and scar shrinkage sometimes occur. External use of 2 ̄5% formalin solution and body odor powder can reduce apocrine secretion and inhibit bacterial growth, thereby eliminating odor, but the action time is short and needs to be used frequently. You can also cut 2 to 3 peppers into shreds and put them into a bottle, add 20 ml of 2% iodine tincture, and seal it for 24 hours. Then dip a cotton ball in the medicine and apply it to the armpits, once a day for 5 to 7 days. The effect is also good.
